Fast and loose with the facts?: 18 school shootings in 2018?

Below you will find a link to an article by the Washington Post challenging the statement being put forth by a number of agencies that there have been 18 school shootings in 2018.  This notion apparently started from the group Everytown for Gun Safety, a nonprofit group, co-founded by Michael Bloomberg, and was then picked up by a variety of personalities and news services.  Please read the article found at the link below from The Washington Post, a news service which itself tends somewhat to the left but has chosen in this case to address irresponsible and inaccurate journalism.

“No, there haven’t been 18 school shootings in 2018. That number is flat wrong.”
