Currently ORGC has two ATA approved Trap Fields. One or both of them are utilized every Tuesday evening, starting about 5:30 to 8:30 PM. These courses are also utilized several times throughout the year for special events like the Inland Waters Trap League, and for ATA sanctioned shoots. Learn more about these events on our Calendar page.
Next, we have the Long Rifle Range. This utilizes a shooter’s pavilion with three benches. Prone shooters are welcome to use the grass in front of, or beside the pavilion. The rifle range has three safety berms with target stands at 50, 100, and 200 yards.
Lastly is the Eagle’s Range tactical arena. This is an area that is isolated on three sides by earthen berms. This space can be used for lots of different activities including pistol and revolver, pistol caliber carbine, and rim-fire rifle shooting. For day-to-day usage, it will predominately be used as a pistol range. It will also be the location for most or all of our “practical shoots” and has become the choice range for when outside instructors use our facility for firearms training . A new seventy foot long shooting pavilion has recently been completed.
Most recently our club house has been completely renovated inside and provides a clean and friendly environment for club meetings and training sessions
We hope that one or more of these designated areas will be ideal for the type of shooting you like to do! Come on out on a Tuesday evening or on a Saturday morning. There will likely be a bunch of people who would love to show you around!
